Split Text step

Introduction

The "Split Text" step is designed to divide a given text into smaller parts or chunks based on a specified separator. This functionality is particularly useful for processing large strings, organizing data, or preparing text for further actions within an automation sequence.

Configuration

• Value: The text you want to split. This field is required and can accept up to 2000 characters.

• Splitter: The character or string used as a delimiter to split the text. This field is required and can accept up to 500 characters.

Outputs

• Chunks: A list of text segments that result from splitting the input text by the specified splitter. Each chunk is a string.

Usage

This step can be utilized in various scenarios, such as parsing command arguments, separating CSV values, or dividing a long message into manageable parts for detailed processing or analysis.
