# Remove Thread Member

**Introduction**

The "Remove Thread Member" step removes a specified user from a Discord thread. This step is useful for managing thread memberships dynamically.

**Configuration**

* **Channel**: Specifies the thread channel from which the user will be removed. This parameter is required.
* **User**: Specifies the user to remove from the thread. This parameter is required and uses the same connection as the thread channel.
