# Add Thread Member

**Introduction**

The "Add Thread Member" step adds a specified user to a Discord thread. This step is useful for managing thread memberships dynamically.

**Configuration**

* **Channel**: Specifies the thread channel to which the user will be added. This parameter is required.
* **User**: Specifies the user to add to the thread. This parameter is required and uses the same connection as the thread channel.
