# Create Role

This step facilitates the creation of a new role within a guild, allowing for customized role configuration.

**Configuration**

1. **Guild**: Choose the guild in which to create the new role. This is a required field.
2. **Name**: Set the name for the role. The name must be between 1 and 100 characters. This is a required field.
3. **Color**: Select a color for the role. This color will be used for role identification and display. This is a required field.
4. **Permissions**: Define the permissions associated with the role. Options include all permissions applicable at the guild level.
