# Delete Role

This step is designed to delete an existing role from a guild.

**Configuration**

* **Role**: Select the role that you wish to delete. This is a required field.

**Usage** 

Useful for removing obsolete or unnecessary roles from a guild, helping to streamline role management and maintain a clean guild structure.

**Permissions**

* Requires the "Manage Roles" permission to delete roles in a guild.
