# Create Invite

**Introduction** 

This step generates an invitation link for a specific channel in a guild.

**Configuration**

* **Channel**: Select the guild channel for which the invite will be created. This parameter is required.
* **Max uses**: You can specify how many times the invite can be used.
* **Max age**: You can specify how long will the invite stay active.

**Outputs**

* **Invite**: The invitation link created for the selected channel. This output variable can be used in subsequent steps for sharing purposes.

**Permissions**

* Requires the "Create Instant Invite" permission to successfully execute this step.
