# Make Channel Public

**Introduction** 

This step converts a specified channel in a guild to a public channel by setting public role permission override.

**Description** 

This process removes all existing permission overrides from the public role for the channel. It does not alter permissions for other roles associated with the channel.

**Configuration**

1. **Channel**: Select the channel to be made public. This field is required.

**Permissions**

* Requires the "Manage Permissions" permission to modify channel visibility and access.
