# Delete Channel

**Introduction** 

This step is used to delete a specified channel in a guild.

**Configuration**

* **Channel**: Select the channel to be deleted. This is a required parameter.

**Usage** 

Useful for managing guild channels, such as removing obsolete or inactive channels to keep the guild organized.

**Permissions**

* Requires the "Manage Channels" permission to successfully perform the deletion.
